They always say there is a fine line between pleasure and pain. I tend to agree. Both physically and emotionally, pain and pleasure are inextricably linked, where one sometimes creeps into the other. Fading into grey, where both become one in the same. There is also a close correlation between happiness and sadness. When you are happy and relieved, but at the same time you are also a bit sad in a way. Crazy? Maybe. Yeah, probably completely insane. But then again, that's life. Life will work you in ways you never imagined. You think you have everything figured out, but life knows better. Life likes to keep you guessing, sometimes trapping you into mundane cycles of normalcy, or throwing you unexpectedly into a drift of confusion and change.
Life is fickle. Too bad I don't believe in fate.
